The AMAZING, WONDERFUL, DEDICATED individuals, who together form our TEAM:
Barbara, Robin, Tamika, Angela H., Tiffany, Liz, and Emily.
BARBARA: AKA Miss Piggie
Barbara
is the Co-Service Unit Director and has 48 years of Girls Scouting behind
her. She has been in scouts since the 1st grade and in 8 states and in
Europe. She helped start the Sleepy Hollow Service Unit about 28 years
ago with her sister-in-law Holly Wright.
Barbara has 3 grown children, Jeff is married to Staci and they have a
terrific 3 year old daughter Madison. Tami her daughter is married to
Kelly and they have a terrific 18 month old with a son on the way which
is due in December. Davy the youngest is married now to his high school
sweetheart Stefanie. Jeff and Tami live in Paulding County and Davy has
a home in Kennesaw. Barbara is so excited to finally have grandbabies.
She has had over 3,000 girls go through the program with her and has achieved
the highest award for a Girl Scout Volunteer, the Thanks Badge, and even
though she is getting a year or so older she plans on remaining a girl
scout for many years to come.
ROBIN:
Robin is our Co Service Unit Director. She has been a Scout for 28 years, 19 of those have been as adult volunteer. She has been an assistant leader and team member and is now the Co-Service Unit Director. Robin also drives a bus for Cobb County (19 years). Robin has 4 children and a great husband, Bubba. Robin's four children are Nick and Jennifer has a little girl name Jaiden, Nathaniel who is married to Andrea and has two sons Ethan and Little Nate, then there is Crystal with husband Solomon and daughter Destiny, Faith, and Hope (twins), then Cassie who looking for a job in the computer world of graphics and art. She and Bubba have built their log cabin home from the ground up over the last 21 years. Robin is part of the magic behind Sleepy Hollow, she is incredibly creative and a joy to be around. Robin loves being a Grandmother and involved with kids. Thanks for all you do Robin, and Bubba, for all you do and all you let us get by with and especially for the use of your basement at Cookie Time.
TAMIKA:
Tamika
is a new Team Member. She is a grown up girl scout and is in her 3rd year
as a Junior Troop Leader. She is currently a full time graduate student
at Georgia State University pursuing a degree in Professional Counseling.
Mr. Willie recently proposed, so welcome him to the world of Girl Scouting…..
ANGELA:
Angela is still on the Sleepy Hollow Service Team this is her 8th year now. She has a daughter Khiana, who is a sophomore at Georgia State University. Angela seems to be the one who tries to Keep Team on track. She knows the guidelines inside and out and reminds us of them when we forget. Angela also helps out with Juior Team. Thanks for all your help Angela.
TIFFANY:
Tiffany has three girls in Sleepy Hollow, Josie, Cheltzie and Jazmine, she also has an adorable 5 year old, Anthony. Her family lives in the Mableton area and Tiffany has been a girl scout most of her life. She was a scout herself in Sleepy Hollow growing up. Tiffany has taken on the responsibility of Junior Team as well as her Troop and Service Team, so I don't think I need to tell you how busy she stays. This year Tiffany is also the registrar for Juniors and need less to say she keeps very busy at that this time of the year. But as we all know the best help and best volunteer is the busy person. LIZ:
Bless her heart Liz is on Team this year. Liz has been with Sleepy Hollow for 5 years as leader and assistant leader. But this year she has given up her troop. Liz is married to Mr. Rick who is also on Team.
