My Silver Project (This is a Basic Outline to the Silver Project)

The Girl Scout Silver Award Project builds upon my accomplishments in Girl Scouting. The project can be done in or outside Girl Scouting, but it MUST reflect some aspect of Community Service. My project must somehow reach the Community, not just Girl Scouts. The total project has 5 steps. My project will take a minimum of 30 hours, this includes planning time and execution of the project. The actual project must be take at least 7 hours. My project should be related to my personal interests and talents. I can work alone or in a group. I must have three IP's, The Cadette Leadership Development Pin, the Challenge, and From Dreams to Reality Patch completed before I begin the work on my Silver Project.

Steps to Outline and Carry Out My Project:

  1. Decide what values, experience, and skills I would like to put into action though my Silver Project.
  2. Decide on my Project. Ideas
  3. Final Project Name
  4. Identify the people that will work with me. Those who will help me.
  5. Create a timeline and a budget (if necessary).
  6. Carry out my project, and write a brief evaluation. (What I did and how I did it.)

Be sure to document everything.
